JASON Kelce revealed he turned down an amazing offer from Taylor Swift to avoid creating a weird dynamic.
The Philadelphia Eagles icon doesn’t want to use his position to take advantage of the music megastar.
Kelce’s younger brother Travis has been in a relationship with Swift for over a year.
And them dating has come while the pop icon has been selling out stadiums worldwide on her blockbuster tour.
Jason has been to a Swift concert with his wife and kids and seemingly revealed her Thanksgiving plans.
But he said he doesn’t entertain ticket requests from friends.
Kelce appeared on The Rich Eisen Show on The Roku Channel.
“It’s been a whirlwind two years,” he said.
“With the Super Bowl, the podcast, Travis dating Taylor – it’s been a whirlwind of events.
“Thankfully I don’t get a lot of people reaching out for Taylor Swift tickets.
“It is an immediate no, but I don’t get a lot of it.”
Host Eisen burst into laughter before pressing Kelce further on the matter.
“Taylor said she would take care of anybody I’d ask for, she’s great,” he admitted.
“But I still say no to everybody.
“I’m not going to be the one to impose on that.
“I’m not going to put that position out there.
“She’s been nothing but lovely to our family, she’s a wonderful person and I don’t want that to be a dynamic.”
‘It was a short retirement!’
The former Philadelphia Eagles lineman called it quits after the 2023 season.
But he will be part of ESPN’s coverage on Monday Night Football in 2024.
Kelce will appear on Monday Night Countdown from 6pm-8pm ET every week as well as during the halftime show.
“Turns out, it was a short retirement!” he joked.
“ESPN was a consistent presence in our household growing up and the network helped shape who I am and my love of all sports.
“To now appear on that same screen is a full circle moment.
“And, I mean it’s freaking Monday Night Football! and I’m ready for some football.”
Swift’s army of fans commented on the clip of Kelce’s interview on social media.
“It’s so refreshing to see someone not take advantage of a situation like that,” one posted.
Another said, “This is the kind of respect you want to see in any relationship.”
