Andrews has been one of Fox’s NFL star sideline reporters since 2012.

She also has a hit Calm Down podcast with Erin and Charissa with Thompson, who’s the host of Fox’s hit NFL pregame show, NFL Kickoff.

On Thursday, Andrews brought up a tricky instance with the 49ers head coach Shanahan before halftime against the Philadelphia Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field in Week 13 on Thanksgiving.

Kyle Shanahan faces biggest 49ers challenge yet: winning the big game

The Fox star reporter wants to apologize to Shanahan for their walk-off interview.

Andrews plans to make the apology to the 49ers’ head coach as she, Kevin Burkhardt, and Greg Olsen will be on the broadcast call for the 49ers’ Week 14 contest versus the Seattle Seahawks.

“I want to apologize to him,” she said to Thompson.

“I feel so bad — and I’m sure this is the last thing on his mind, but it is in my mind.

“I’ve talked so much about how Kyle runs, and I’ve gotta keep up with him…I’m trying to fit through this tunnel with him.

“And I don’t even write down stuff anymore with Kyle. I use my phone recorder.”

Erin then told Charissa that “the tunnel is so tight” while adding she had to dodge “guys” while attempting to ask questions to Shanahan as Eagles were screaming expletive words.

Andrews finished describing the awkward interview scene by saying it was “high pressure” and a “disaster.”

Thompson chimed in and said: “He doesn’t care. He understands.”

The 49ers would go on to clobber the Eagles 42-19.

San Francisco (9-3) is just one game behind Philadelphia (10-2) for the No. 1 seed.
