The Baltimore Ravens were a team to be reckoned with in 2024 as they eased through the year despite a slow start.

Their year is over now after being eliminated in the Divisional round.

We are now finding out some cool facts about the team and their uniforms that many teams might want to recreate in the future.

For Ravens players, one crucial factor in their success this past year was thanks in part to Ebony Short, a former Broadway designer.

Short, who grew up a Ravens fan just miles from the team’s facility, got her first sewing machine for Christmas around the age of 10.

It did not take her long to get hooked. She began making clothes for her dolls and, eventually, her own prom dress.

No one could’ve guessed this would’ve turned into a career.

One of her most notable projects is adding battery-powered hand warmers to Lamar Jackson’s jersey, which provides him with warmth during cold games. That was certainly needed when the team took on the Pittsburgh Steelers in the first round and then the Buffalo Bills in the divisional round.

Ebony will often times paint players custom cleats or remove fabric from their jerseys so that it fits tighter to help them avoid getting held.

The Ravens fell short of reaching the conference championship game for the fourth time in their past five playoff appearances since Lamar Jackson’s arrival in 2018.

Jackson’s postseason record dropped to 3-5 and 1-5 when he had a turnover.

The only answer to their woes is to stop turning the ball over.
