Patrick & Brittany Mahomes’ Romantic Date Night Sparks Buzz After Travis Kelce’s Big Chiefs Announcement!

Patrick and Brittany Mahomes enjoyed some downtime together on Thursday night, with the couple enjoying a date night after a whirlwind start to 2025.

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Mahomes lost the Super Bowl earlier in February, with his team emphatically beaten 40-22 by the Philadelphia Eagles in New Orleans and falling at the final hurdle of the ‘three-peat’.

Away from the football field, Brittany Mahomes gave birth to the couple’s third child in January. They welcomed their second daughter, who they named Golden Raye.

Days after the Super Bowl loss, the entire Mahomes family was in mourning when it emerged that Randy Mahomes, Patrick’s grandfather, had died at the age of 78 after requiring hospice care.

Now, judging by Brittany’s Instagram, the couple are making some time for themselves.

She shared a selfie on Thursday night of them cuddled up together at a restaurant, before adding some pictures of desserts to her Instagram story.

‘Date night,’ she captioned the image, posting a white-heart emoji alongside the picture.

The couple would likely have been discussing their friend and Patrick’s teammate Travis Kelce over the dinner table.

The Chiefs tight end confirmed on Thursday that he would not be retiring from the NFL and will return for a 13th season in 2025.

Mahomes celebrated the news on X, posting a gif from The Last Dance of Michael Jordan’s security guard, John Michael Wozniak, giving his infamous shrug after one of the basketball legend’s signature performances.

Kelce and Mahomes are reuniting after five Super Bowl appearances together in the last six seasons.

Kelce will turn 36 in the middle of the next NFL season but decided to play on after his previous season ended with the disastrous loss to the Eagles.

Earlier this week, Patrick and Brittany were at a Texas Tech basketball game.

They were sat courtside as the Chiefs star watched his former college lose to the Houston Cougars, 69-61.
